Ingredients:

2 cups yellow long grain rice, parboiled
1 cup onion
4 green onions
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons vegetable broth
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon cloves, minced
2 tablespoons mint leaves
1 bunch fresh mint leaves to garnish
1 tablespoons olive oil
Cheese Cream:
3 tablespoons olive oil
sea salt & black pepper to taste
9 ounces cream cheese
Directions:

  1. Start by heating your oven to 360, and then get out a pan. Heat your butter and olive oil together, and cook your onions and spring onions for two minutes.
  2. Add in your salt, pepper, paprika, cloves, vegetable broth, rice and remaining seasoning. S
  3. Sauté for three minutes.
  4. Wrap with foil, and bake for another half hour. Allow it to cool.
  5. Mix in the cream cheese, cheese, olive oil, salt and pepper. Serve your pilaf garnished with fresh mint leaves.
